Chip - a small type of break with a visible impact point that is usually caused by small rocks hitting the windscreen. Also known as a stone chip.
Crack - a single long and visible split in the windscreen that is caused by edge impact, stress, heat, manufacturing defect or any combination. They can be repairable depending on severity however I am currently not offering this service yet.
Break - breaks are a general term that can be used interchangeably with chips and cracks.
